Tamamura (玉村) is a recurring character and employee of Daiku Cafe as a cashier. She, just like Izumi Sakurai, tends to sweat when embarrassed or impatient. She is also easily frightened and doesn't seem very sure of herself. She has long blond hair and dark blue eyes, wearing a Cafe uniform of a green apron, a white dress-shirt and a name tag. Outside of Daiku Cafe, she's also seen working at the publishing department that picks up Mio's manga[1] and another Daiku-owned meat shop.[2]
She goes to the same college as a friend of hers, Yoshino Naganohara, whom she refers to as Naganon.[3] Her first on screen appearance is as a passer by in the stair climbing game scene, during episode 2. However, she does not have a speaking role until episode 12.
Etymology[]
- The surname Tamamura means "ball, sphere, bullet, lens, jade, bulb, bead, gem, shot, jewel, shell, coin, bowl, pretty girl" (玉) (tama) and "town, village" (村) (mura).
